A fire broke out in the hydraulic shear of the caster at the steel plant due to hydraulic oil leakage, causing economic losses and production delays. The previously used synthetic ester-based fire-resistant oil from a certain brand failed to meet safety requirements, resulting in the scrapping of the hydraulic shear equipment.

· Solution

The steel plant replaced all hydraulic stations of the caster's straightening machine and hydraulic shear with Toplocal's Lvan Non-Flammable Hydraulic Fluid TFR 46. This better eliminates fire hazards and provides better protection for lives and property.
