Customer Industry: Steel Manufacturer
Main Product: Stainless Steel Strip Products
· Lubrication Challenges
1、When rolling 304 stainless steel, the edges of the work rolls are prone to wear and groove formation; in severe cases, the steel plate warps, leading to frequent machine shutdowns for roll replacement and increased roll consumption.
2、Low surface reflectivity & difficult degreasing/cleaning: Poor extreme pressure lubricity of the rolling fluid causes residual carbon and iron on the plate surface, which is not easy to volatilize during annealing. Residual carbon accumulates in the annealing furnace, slowing down the annealing process and causing steel plate backlogs.
3、A layer of residue remains on the surface of annealed steel plates, appearing yellow and dull with low glossiness.
· Solution
Adopt Toplocal rolling fluid TL-ST-CR 710:
1. Effectively controls roll grooving when rolling 304 steel grades, greatly reducing roll replacement frequency and roll consumption; effectively extends rolling mileage and output.
2. Less residual carbon and iron on the rolled steel plate surface, which is more uniform, cleaner, and easier to degrease.
3. Residues on the steel plate surface volatilize more easily during annealing, resulting in a uniform, clean, high-gloss surface (no yellowing), increasing annealing speed and relieving annealing pressure.
4. Excellent dispersion of sludge and iron powder, and good emulsion cleaning performance; the rolling mill and emulsification system remain clean with no oil sludge accumulation.
5. Stable emulsification fluid performance, easy maintenance; stable rolling production with low oil consumption.
6. Toplocal stainless steel rolling fluid TL-ST-CR710 completely solves issues such as water marks, roll grooving, rolling mill contamination, uneven steel plate surface, heavy oil stains, difficult degreasing/cleaning, and poor annealability, fully meeting the customer's production and quality requirements.
